Job description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide clinical care under the direct/indirect supervision of the Director of Respiratory and/or Respiratory Supervisor/Lead Therapist. At the request of the physician, the Registered Respiratory Therapists will set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment that are utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Associate Degree required.
• NYS Respiratory Therapist License.
• National Board Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
