A Day In The Life

The Clinical Specialist at CVRx is responsible for providing clinical support for CVRx technology and business applications through education of current and potential customers, and procedure coverage within a defined region or geography, in partnership with Territory Managers, sales leaders and other key internal partners. As a Clinical Specialist at CVRx, you will play a vital role in supporting our cutting-edge technology while also supporting our commercial team in driving the expansion of our products. Other duties and areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

• Communicating product and clinical benefits of Barostim therapy to cardiologists, heart failure/hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons.
• Facilitating training and programs on proper application of Barostim therapy to clinicians, office, and hospital staff.
• Providing technical support during implant procedures, follow-ups, titrations, and patient visits to ensure positive outcomes.
• Collaborating with Territory Managers to develop effective communication plans tailored to specific markets.
• Supporting the launch and ongoing commitment of CVRx programs at new customer sites.
• Driving utilization and expansion of Barostim therapy through education and therapeutic program development.
• Acting as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Meeting with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs and providing feasible solutions.
• Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and adhering to sales processes.
• Providing backup support to other field staff as needed.

Requirements

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management abilities
• Ability to understand medical and surgical concepts, including active implantable medical devices
• Experience with cardiology or cardiac surgery therapeutic devices; heart failure experience preferred
• Self-motivated and persistent, capable of supporting innovative technology adoption
• Detail-oriented and independent work ethic
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick learner of Salesforce and other systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree
• Healthcare experience beneficial
• Knowledge of heart failure or cardiovascular market and competitive devices
• Ability to collaborate with R&D for product feedback

Working Conditions

• Remote-based within the specified region
• Interfacing with multiple internal departments and physicians
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
• Travel required (60% or more), some overnight stays
• May require COVID-19 vaccination

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually, with bonus potential through VIP plan. Compensation varies based on experience and location.
