Actalent is seeking a Registered Project Architect to lead complex design projects from concept through construction. Based in Charlotte, NC, you will act as a technical leader, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure code-compliant, buildable solutions across healthcare, education, senior living, and government sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Active Architectural Registration (Licensed Architect).
• 10+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Experience leading projects within healthcare, senior living, education, government, or other institutional markets.
• Strong proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, Microsoft Office.
• Extensive knowledge of: Building codes, Construction documentation, Building systems, Detailing and constructability.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects through all phases of design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Translate design concepts into coordinated, code-compliant, and buildable solutions.
• Oversee the preparation and coordination of construction documents, specifications, and technical details.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, ADA standards, and internal quality requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver fully integrated designs.
• Manage construction phase services including RFIs, submittals, field observations, punch lists, and contractor coordination.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project interviews.
• Support project planning, scheduling, scope management, and budget adherence.
• Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, and related design technologies.
• Mentor and support junior architects and design staff in their technical and professional development.
