The role emphasizes Revit-based documentation, construction administration, and site visits, with a hybrid Boston-based work environment and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture.
• Architectural registration required.
• 35+ years of project management experience in architecture.
• 1020 years of overall architecture experience.
• Demonstrated experience with academic and education-sector projects.
• Proficiency in Revit for design, documentation, and coordination.
• Experience with construction documents and construction administration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Proven leadership skills in guiding and mentoring project teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to make design and technical decisions grounded in practical experience.
• Experience in architecture project management and client leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural project teams in developing and delivering high-quality design solutions across all phases of a project.
• Collaborate with principals, designers, and technical staff to align design intent and project goals.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and fees, and assign tasks to team members.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
• Coordinate with consultants to integrate work into cohesive project documents.
• Oversee project documentation and quality control from concept to construction administration.
• Conduct site visits, condition assessments, and research to inform design decisions.
• Support planning using benchmarks, cost data, and code research.
• Facilitate client meetings and presentations, representing the firm professionally.
• Participate in construction administration activities including RFIs and submittals.
• Travel as required for site work and coordination.
