Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Registered Polysomnography Technician to support our sleep disorders services. You will join a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-focused care in a leading hospital.

In this role you will perform polysomnographic testing, patient hookup, equipment calibration, and help ensure accurate scoring and timely results in collaboration with supervisors. Prior sleep tech experience is preferred, with CPR certification required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy or EEG school preferred.
  • RPSGT, RRT or REEGT required.
  • Certification in CPR required.
  • Prior experience in polysomnographic technology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Under general direction of the Supervisor, performs patient care after receiving general instruction.
  • Responsible for polysomnographic testing and scoring polysomnographic records.
  • Other responsibilities include patient hookup, equipment calibration, responding to patients' needs.
  • Clerical duties such as scheduling and pulling patient records may also be required.
