We are seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist, also referred to as a Sleep Technologist or Polysomnographer for our Sleep Laboratory in our hospital. A Sleep Technologist plays an important role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders within our hospital. A Polysomnographic Tech’s primary responsibility is to perform polysomnography, a type of sleep study that monitors various physiological parameters to assess sleep patterns, identify abnormalities, and support the diagnosis of sleep‑related issues. • Identify irregularities, such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, or narcolepsy, which can then be reviewed by a sleep specialist for diagnosis
  • May administer CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) or BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) during the study to determine effective pressure settings for patients who may need therapy
