Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Lead Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to provide clinical expertise, staff support, and operational leadership across its sleep medicine program. This is a full-time weekend nights role that offers a pathway into leadership within a premier academic health system.

You will oversee diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, mentor technologists, support quality and safety initiatives, and travel between lab locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • RPSGT or RST credential required.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years sleep technologist experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Passion for leadership, patient care, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for sleep technologists.
  • Support quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and patient safety efforts.
  • Assist with staff oversight, equipment troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
