Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to provide comprehensive evaluations and treatment of sleep disorders under the supervision of the Clinical Director, including polysomnography, scoring, and patient education.

The role requires BRPT registration or eligibility and AMA graduate-level training. Responsibilities include testing preparation, data acquisition, scoring, and assisting with therapeutic interventions for pediatric to geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
• AMA graduate or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information from history, medications and study protocol.
• Prepares and calibrates equipment, ensures proper functioning and PAP mask fitting.
• Performs polysomnographic procedures with data acquisition and documentation.
• Scores sleep/wake stages and clinical events, generates reports.
• Assists with interventions and patient safety during testing.
