Responsibilities

• Gathers materials and sets up all necessary equipment for the test to be performed; discusses test procedure with patient.
• Instructs patient on the use of PAP therapy and prepares for test per AASM standards; calibrates machines.
• Monitors patient during testing and scores polygraphic records; communicates results to physician.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; assists with training new personnel and scheduling.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to hospital policies; ensures safety and quality in sleep center procedures.
