Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; Completed A-Step Program Certification.
• Twelve to eighteen months of related experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: BRPT or ABSM board certification required.
• CRPSGTs or non-registered hires must pass board exam within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Gathers materials and sets up equipment for the test; explain test to patient; apply electrodes per standards.
• Monitors testing; troubleshoots equipment; notifies physician in emergencies.
• Scores polygraphic records and summarizes findings for physician review; maintains stocks.
• Assists in training new personnel; helps with scheduling tests and patient flow.
• Maintains BLS/CPR and sleep certifications; pursues CE credits for center accreditation.
