Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist in Rochester, MN to provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team while promoting wellness programs within the community.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 and state and federal regulations.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory on an annual basis or as needed.
• Assist with inventory control including ordering, stocking merchandise, and entering invoices.
• Assist with reconciliation of third-party accounts and monthly inventory.
• Promote wellness programs and community outreach and support the pharmacy team.
