Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will greet customers with a friendly smile, fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with OBRA '90 and state/federal laws.

You will also manage controlled substance inventory, oversee ordering and merchandising of OTC products, and mentor pharmacy staff while promoting wellness programs and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients per OBRA '90 and all regulations.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and annual/balanced inventory processes.
• Manage inventory control including ordering, stocking, invoices, and data entry.
• Balance third-party accounts and monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Coach and train pharmacy staff and participate in education programs.

Responsibilities

• Visit schools, doctors' offices, and senior centers to market pharmacy services.
• Grow sales through counseling and wellness programs.
• Follow security and regulatory procedures including Quality Assurance.
