Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute in Kentucky seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-bed Women’s Services unit, delivering patient-centered medical support and compassionate care.

You will administer medications, assess patients, document care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe discharges and smooth transfers. Responsibilities

• Provide medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate conditions to care team, physicians, patients and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, nutrition, elimination and mobility.
• Collaborate across disciplines for transfers, discharges, referrals and psychosocial support.
• Provide education tailored to patient and family needs and advocate for their well-being.

• Providing education tailored to patient and family needs, advocating for their physical and emotional well-being.
