Job summary
MEP Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 14-bed ER unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, administering medications and documenting care.
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, support activities of daily living, and advocate for patients and families to improve outcomes. Comprehensive benefits, ongoing learning, and career growth opportunities are provided.
Qualifications
- RN license required
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months
- Preferred: minimum one year of experience and ASLS certification
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process
- Administering medications, collecting specimens, and providing clinical treatments
- Documenting patient care and monitoring patient conditions
- Assisting with activities of daily living and supporting patient well-being
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care, transfers, and discharge planning
- Advocating for patients' physical and emotional needs and engaging with families to improve outcomes
