Job summary

LifeBridge Health seeks a qualified Registered Nurse for Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland. The RN will manage patient care, coordinate with the care delivery team, and support families through the nursing process.

Licensure and certifications are required with NIHSS due within 6 months and ACLS within 18 months. Salary ranges from $37.15 to $58.33 per hour based on experience, with benefits including health, retirement, tuition assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 18 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Dept. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration, and communication with all team members, including ancillary and support services. The RN develops a plan of nursing care and utilizes established clinical pathways which are implemented by the care delivery team with the supervision of the RN. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities and supervises the delivery of care by team. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, as needed, and revises the plan of care. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.

Licensures & Certifications:

• * Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• * National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
• * Basic Life Support
• * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Pay Range: $37.15 to $58.33 Based On Experience
