Job summary

Carroll Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care in our nursing department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using independent judgment and collaboration with the care team. The role includes supervising care delivery and preparing patients for discharge.

Requirements include a Maryland RN license or eligibility, NIHSS within 6 months, ACLS within 18 months, and BLS. Experience less than one year is noted.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or equivalent required.
• Registered Nurse license for Maryland or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Manage patient care for individuals and families with collaboration from the care team.
• Delegate nursing tasks based on patient needs and team skills.
• Supervise delivery of care and evaluate patient responses to treatments.

Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Dept. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities and supervises the delivery of care by team. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, and as needed, revised the plan of care. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.

Pay Range: $37.15 to $58.33 Based On Experience
