Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice provider in the U.S., invites you to join as an Admissions Registered Nurse. This full-time role offers weekend day options with Baylor schedules and a competitive salary range of $78,000–$86,000, plus comprehensive benefits to support patients at home.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, OASIS completion, skilled nursing care, and coordinating care with staff and physicians. License, CPR, and driving eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid for state(s) of assignment.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; approval by VP if under 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-of-care comprehensive assessments and develop/implement care plans.
• Complete timely and accurate OASIS assessments.
• Provide skilled nursing care per plan and agency policies.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, families, and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
• Initiate appropriate referrals as indicated.
• Promote patient health through teaching and rehabilitative measures.
• Assist patients in learning self-care techniques.

Attractive Pay

• Minimum Salary: $78,000
• Maximum Salary: $86,000

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• One year of clinical experience as an RN. If less than one year clinical experience, you must be approved by VP of clinical.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
