Job summary

Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY seeks an Registered Nurse for the Weekend Program on the Short Stay Unit. The role is full-time, 7:00 am–7:00 pm, with a 25% weekend differential. The RN will provide direct nursing care from admission to discharge, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Required ADN with KY RN licensure; ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS training within specified timelines; and mandatory crisis prevention training. Preferred BSN and recent specialty experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• ADN required for RN licensure.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Kentucky required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• BLS must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Mandatory crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation and renewed annually.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
