Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our care team in Missouri. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure optimal outcomes while upholding patient rights and privacy.

Candidates must hold an RN license, have graduated from an accredited nursing program, and maintain BLS certification or complete it within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure is required.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

• ACLS/ALS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Physical Requirements:
