POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is a licensed healthcare professional with advanced medical knowledge who administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent visits in their homes. She/he provides complex care to the patient and coordinates necessary support services. These nursing services are provided to patients in accordance with a physician’s plan of care. RNs who serve as primary nurses utilize a case manager approach in assessing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating client care.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE REGISTERED NURSES RN POSITION:

• Registered professional nurse with a current valid Pennsylvania license
• Minimum of two [2] years of current experience as a professional nurse in a medical/surgical work area and one [1] year of home health experience (preferred)
• Skilled in critical thinking, communication, negotiation, and collaboration
• Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state.
