Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital in Waltham is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will recover pediatric patients after surgery and work in a family-centered peri-operative environment with a collaborative team.

The role requires a BSN, MA RN license, and 2 years of inpatient pediatric RN experience; PACU/critical care and PALS are strongly preferred. Shifts include 4-8 hour blocks with some short and overnight call.

Qualifications

• 2 years of inpatient pediatric RN experience or equivalent.
• PACU/critical care experience preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Experience

• 2 years of inpatient Boston Children's Hospital RN experience or other pediatric inpatient experience.
• PACU/Critical care experience is strongly preferred.
• PALS Certification is strongly preferred.

Licensure / Certifications

• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
