The RN will manage patient care episodes, coordinating directly with patients, families, and other health care professionals to ensure safety and quality care. Requires MN RN licensure and a BSN preferred with BSN within 2 years of hire; BLS certification is

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
• BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers and other providers to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Coordinate and supervise care delivered by Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed staff as needed.
• Participate in an on-site MedSurg Float Pool team to ensure flexible coverage.
