Job description

A highly respected, well-established healthcare organization is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its nursing leadership team. This organization operates one of the region's larger skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, serving 364 residents across a variety of specialized care programs, including long-term care, memory care, and post-acute rehabilitation. With a longstanding reputation for clinical excellence, compassionate care, and operational stability, the facility is committed to providing residents with the highest quality of care while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for its employees.

The organization places a strong emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, empowering its nursing leaders to make meaningful decisions that positively impact resident outcomes and staff development. Leadership is highly visible and invested in creating a culture where employees feel supported, valued, and equipped with the resources needed to succeed. Nurses who thrive here are passionate about resident-centered care, enjoy mentoring clinical teams, and are looking to grow their careers within an organization that values professionalism, integrity, and excellence in long-term care. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a stable organization that offers strong compensation, excellent benefits, and the ability to lead within a large, well-run skilled nursing environment.

We are currently hiring two full-time RN Unit Managers to oversee daily nursing operations on the 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift. These are leadership positions responsible for ensuring exceptional clinical care, supervising nursing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting a positive culture focused on resident well-being.

There are two distinct opportunities available:

  • Memory Care Unit Manager – Responsible for overseeing approximately 80 residents within a specialized dementia care unit.
  • Long-Term Care Unit Manager – Responsible for overseeing three long-term care units, managing approximately 40 residents per unit.

Both roles require experienced nurse leaders who are confident managing clinical operations, supporting and developing nursing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily clinical and operational functions of assigned nursing unit(s).
  • Lead, supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
  • Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care consistent with organizational standards.
  • Monitor resident conditions and coordinate appropriate clinical interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
  • Conduct regular clinical rounds and monitor quality indicators.
  • Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary conferences.
  • Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with staffing coordination, employee coaching, performance management, and clinical education.
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on accountability, teamwork, and outstanding resident outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous nurse management or supervisory experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is required.
  • Strong understanding of skilled nursing regulations, clinical operations, and long-term care best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop nursing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care.
  • Experience working with dementia residents is strongly preferred for candidates interested in the Memory Care Unit Manager position.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centered care and fostering a culture of clinical excellence.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $140,000 annual salary
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM schedule
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
