Job summary

Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster County, PA is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a designated nursing unit. This full-time role requires clinical excellence, staff leadership, and a commitment to high-quality resident care.

You will oversee plan coordination, care program implementation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective services for residents.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 1 year as Unit Manager or 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and patient-focused mindset.
• Positive attitude and commitment to residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee clinical services for an assigned nursing unit
• Lead and support interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care
• Assess resident needs and evaluate systems that support safe and effective care delivery
• Address and resolve patient and family concerns
• Implement and evaluate nursing procedures and care programs
• Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Educate residents and families on health needs
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives
• Maintain documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal standards
• Provide general nursing care as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
