Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with Labor and Delivery expertise for a 14-week traveler assignment, nights, at $75/hour. Requires Virginia RN license, 2+ years L&D, and OR circulating proficiency.

Travel RN role includes patient care, medication administration, and family communication. Candidates must meet position requirements, including current ACLS/BLS, and be able to work nights across multiple shifts.

Additional Job Description SENTARA ALBEMARLE MEDICAL CENTER ELIZABETH CITY, VIRGINIA REGISTERED NURSE LDRP NIGHTS 14 WEEK TRAVELER $75/hr The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Meets and maintains any requirements defined by a specific special Registered Nurse E ducation RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN Certification/Licensure Valid RN License to practice in Virginia Current ACLS, BLS, NRP Intermittent or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course preferred Registered Nurse Experience MUST have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT Labor & Delivery Experience MUST be proficient at Circulating in the OR As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career.
