Overview

SENTARA ALBEMARLE MEDICAL CENTER ELIZABETH CITY, NC REGISTERED NURSE - TRAVELER NIGHTS 14 WEEK Temp HOSPITAL FLOAT $65 / hr 2 or more years of RECENT RN bedside in Medical Telemetry and or IMCU Stepdown (see below for experience requirements)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Meets and maintains any requirements defined by a specific specialty

Qualifications

Education RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN

Certification/Licensure Valid RN License to practice in Virginia Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience MUST have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT bedside RN experience in Med Tele and or IMCU EPIC documentation system experience required
