Job summary

Shea Online is seeking a Registered Nurse in Evanston Hospital to provide comprehensive nursing care across patient populations. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with 11:00am–11:30pm shifts and no required travel.

You will apply the nursing process to plan and evaluate care while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety. Ideal candidates hold an IL nursing license and BSN is preferred; 2 years med/surg experience is required, with optional BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
