Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem's Evanston Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care across patient populations within the department. You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care and ensure regulatory compliance in your practice.

This role offers full-time hours (36 per week) with a rotating night shift, weekend rotation, and opportunities for professional growth, tuition assistance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high‑quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80; the hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise, years of experience, and other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Registered Nurse
• Location: Evanston Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time – 36 hr/wk
• Hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, rotating weekends
• Required Travel: no
