The Thought Disorders Unit at Sheppard Pratt Health System in Towson, MD is hiring a Registered Nurse (Night). This 22-bed unit provides psychiatric nursing care with a focus on psychotic illnesses, rotating weekends, and a 7PM–7AM schedule.
You will perform full professional psychiatric nursing duties, administer treatments, educate patients and families, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. Maryland RN licensure required; CPR (AHA) and orientation provided.

The Thought Disorders Unit at Sheppard Pratt Health System is a 22-bed unit that treats patients with psychotic illnesses, including Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorders, as well as Neuropsychiatric Disorders. Patients are treated under the expert care of experienced psychiatrists, nursing, and other clinical staff. With an average length of stay between 10 and 14 days, the Thought Disorders Unit is unique as it is one of the few specialized units across the country that specifically cares for patients with psychotic illnesses.
