Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric nursing care in Towson, MD. The role is in-person with a 36-hour week and rotating weekends, offering the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to treatment planning and patient outcomes.

You will administer treatment, educate patients and families, and guide paraprofessional staff while documenting progress for care teams. Orientation and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland RN license at appointment and maintain it.
• Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.
• All new clinical staff undergo extended orientation after start date.

Requirements:

• Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.
• Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.
• All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience as a registered nurse.

What we need from you.

• Must hold current registered nurse (RN) licensure to practice in Maryland at the time of appointment and maintain licensure throughout the duration of employment.
• Candidates residing in a compact state may apply with a multistate license and must obtain a Maryland RN license within 60 days of relocation.
• Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting is preferred, but not necessary.
