Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse to support Telemetry across Ascension acute care facilities. The role offers multiple shifts, roughly 36 hours per week, with local and national travel options depending on need.

You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and assist with discharge planning. Minimum: RN license (compact or state), BLS within 30 days, and a diploma from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• BLS Provider within 1 Month required.
• Compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel location.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following established policies and protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and record patient care plans and conditions.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Must have compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location prior to start of assignment.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience:

• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
