HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards and state requirements. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models and acting as a patient-family advocate to ensure exceptional outcomes.

The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, telemetry monitoring, and maintaining a supportive, educational environment for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
• BSN is required.
• Current RN License in Texas or Multi-State Compact; Texas RN license within 90 days of hire if on compact.
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Med/Surg clinical experience as an RN in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care.
• Assume the responsibility of charging the unit, as needed.
• Assess patients with telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain a customer-friendly atmosphere.
• Model and reinforce patient teaching and communicate status to the healthcare team, supporting families as needed.
