Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards. You will collaborate with providers and the care team, advocating for patients and families while following established nursing models.

You will assess patients on admission and during shifts, administer medications, document care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Associate Degree
• 1 year RN Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying changes.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt responses to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
