Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and state regulations. You will collaborate with the care team to administer medications, document care, and advocate for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assessing patients at admission and during shifts, promptly reporting changes, and educating patients about their treatment plans and follow-up steps.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN is required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association) and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical Med Surg experience as an RN in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond to patient requests promptly and educate patients and families about care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up measures
