Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs according to the state nurse practice act. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes.

Required licenses include Alabama Registered Nurse license or multi-state license, CPR certification, and adherence to Nursing Clinical Ladder policies. ACLS/NRP/PALS/BLS timeframes apply for specific units.

Qualifications

Nursing staff supervision of RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs.
ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED/ICU/surgical areas.
NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.
PALS within one year of hire in PACU.
BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel.
Assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates effectiveness of care.
