Job summary

Tanner Health System in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and supervise nursing care according to state practice act. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires Georgia RN license or multistate license, CPR, ACLS within 6 months, NRP and PALS per unit requirements. No prior experience required; supervision duties may apply. Will work in fast-paced care settings.

Qualifications

• GA Registered Nurse license or Multistate Nursing License.
• CPR required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/SSU when GI call or Cath Lab.
• NRP within 1 year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within 1 year of hire in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• CARE ACROSS THE LIFESPAN: Assess patient, plan and adapt nursing care for patients across ages and populations; involve families in care.
• PATIENT ASSESSMENT PLANNING CARE: Develop goals, select interventions, document plan in EHR, coordinate with physicians and team.
• PATIENT INTERVENTION AND EVALUATION: Administer meds and treatments per policy; educate patients and families; coordinate care with departments.
• PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Maintain knowledge of rules/regulations and hospital policies; participate in education.
• TEAM MEMBER: Mentor students/new staff; attend meetings; assist in supplies and equipment management.
