Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The nurse will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.

Required licenses include Georgia RN or multistate license; CPR/Healthcare Provider certification, ACLS within 6 months for critical areas, and PALS/NRP as applicable by unit. Willowbrooke requires SCIPP within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or multistate license.
• BLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months for ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call.
• NRP within 1 year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within 1 year of hire in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in nursing care according to the state nurse practice act.
• Assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
