State of Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse for the South County Habilitation Center in St. Louis, MO. The full-time role runs 6:30am–3:00pm with alternating days off; base salary and total compensation reflect service adjustments and other differential pay.
Responsibilities include developing and evaluating nursing plans, conducting assessments, supervising staff, and administering medications as prescribed by a physician. The department emphasizes total compensation and robust benefits.
$3,976.85 semi-monthly or $95,444.40 annually
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. Years of service adjustments, shift differentials, and other targeted salary payments are applied to the total compensation of your paycheck and are subject to eligibility requirements of the appropriate differential.
This full-time position is located at South County Habilitation Center, 2312 Lemay Ferry Road St. Louis, MO 63125. Regular work schedule will be 6:30am to 3:00pm with alternating Tuesday/Friday and every other Saturday/Sunday as regular days off.

Knowledge of current professional nursing theory, practices, and standards. Ability to administer detailed therapeutic prescriptions under general professional supervision. Ability to supervise, evaluate, and instruct professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
Current DMH employees applying for this position must be free of discipline for six months.To promote to this position, you should be free of discipline for twelve months. (See SLDDTC Policy 4.06, Bidding).
