Unit Summary:

Recent upgrades include a sixth operating room, new communication systems, and advanced surgical equipment. Our surgical volume increased by 12% in 2023, performing 7,837 procedures.

Position Summary:

Provides patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team about patient conditions and responses to treatment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing assigned duties
• Conducting patient assessments and reassessments
• Managing pain and patient needs
• Administering medications safely
• Assisting physicians with procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• Willing to take call shifts
• RN license in KY or a compact state
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• BLS certification within 7 days of hire
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Critical thinking and ability to work independently in stressful situations
