Job summary

Amery Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Department to deliver patient care through the nursing process. The role requires prioritizing urgent patient needs, initiating appropriate interventions, and evaluating responses to care plans.

Qualified candidates should have a WI RN license, BLS/PALS/ACLS, and preferably OR experience; EPIC system knowledge is a plus as is a keyboarding/computer skill set. Benefits apply to a .5 FTE or greater position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a WI RN license.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience or equivalent education.
• Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge.

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).

Job Description

As the Registered Nurse in the Amery Hospital & Clinic's Surgery Department, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This person will also be able to prioritize the urgency of patient needs, initiate appropriate interventions of care and evaluate patients' response to care plans.

Work Schedule

• Dependent on department needs. Wednesday is a high volume day of the department.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possesses a current WI RN license.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1-year operating room experience or equivalent education
• Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EPIC computer system
• Pre & Post op experience preferred
• O.R. Experience highly preferred
