Job summary

Amery Hospital & Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Department to deliver patient care through the nursing process—from assessment to evaluation. The role requires prioritizing urgent needs, initiating appropriate interventions, and evaluating responses to care plans.

The casual position supports the department as needed, with opportunities to work in a variety of perioperative settings and to participate in a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current WI RN license.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum Of 1-year Operating Room Experience Or Equivalent Education
• Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Prioritize urgency of patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Evaluate patients' responses to care plans and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe perioperative care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

As the Registered Nurse in the Amery Hospital & Clinic's Surgery Department, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This person will also be able to prioritize the urgency of patient needs, initiate appropriate interventions of care and evaluate patients' response to care plans.

Work Schedule

Casual position, based on department needs.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Possesses a current WI RN license
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum Of 1-year Operating Room Experience Or Equivalent Education
• Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EPIC computer system
• Pre & Post op experience
• O.R. Experience highly preferred
