St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Supportive Oncology team within the St. Luke's Cancer Institute.
This RN will provide essential care coordination, patient education, and symptom management in a multidisciplinary setting. The Psych-Oncology RN role supports the whole-person approach with a day shift, full-time (0.9 FTE) schedule, and regular coverage at SLCI Boise with occasional Meridian days.

Our St. Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. As we continue to grow our Psychiatric Oncology Program, we are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Supportive Oncology team. Supportive Oncology is an integral part of the St. Luke's Cancer Institute philosophy that healing comes from caring for the whole person, not just the disease.
In this role, the Psych-Oncology RN will provide essential support through patient triage, symptom management, care coordination, treatment education, and follow up care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients and support providers with oncology and mental health patient care, treatment management, and coordination of services across the continuum of care
Partner closely with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other specialists to deliver exceptional patient-centered care
Provide education, guidance, and emotional support to patients and families regarding cancer treatment plans, symptom management, and available resources
Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and laboratory results, to help develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Position Details:
Full-time (0.9 FTE): day shift schedule - no nights, weekends, or St. Luke's observed holidays
Primary work location is at SLCI Boise, with regular coverage at the SLCI Meridian (approx. one day a week)

Certification pay available (e.g. OCN)
Education: Nursing Degree
Experience: One (1) + years' RN experience
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute
Preferred: Behavioral Health and/or Oncology experience
