Job summary

Pine Acres Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead weekend clinical operations on our Nursing team. You will direct care plans, perform patient assessments, assist physicians during exams, and oversee LPNs and CNAs.

The role requires an RN license with CPR/BLS certification and prior long-term care management experience. BSN is preferred but not required, with full-time weekend shifts and an engaged management team supporting a great work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directing and implementing resident/patient care plans.
• Performing resident/patient assessments.
• Assisting physicians during exams and procedures.
• Preparing equipment and wound care, monitoring patients.
• Monitoring vital signs and maintaining records.
• Overseeing clinical operations and administrative tasks.
• Administering medications and injections.
• Leading LPNs and CNAs.
• Assisting in admissions and discharges.
• Coodinating clinical and administrative duties as RN Supervisor.

Job responsibilities for Registered Nurse Supervisors (RNs) include and are not limited to:

• Directing, initiating and implementing resident/patient Plan of Care.


• Performing resident/patient assessments.


• Assisting Physicians during examinations and procedures.


• Preparing equipment, applying/changing dressings, and monitoring patients.


• Checking residents/patients’ vital signs and symptoms, maintaining records


• Overseeing clinical operations, the RN Supervisor also handles various administrative tasks


• Administering prescribed medications and injections.


• Acting as a leader in providing guidance to LPNs and CNAs.


• Assisting in the admissions and discharge process


• The RN Supervisor role encompasses not only clinical responsibilities but also administrative duties

Requirements for Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN):

• Nursing and Management experience in a long term care environment.


• Must be an RN, Registered Nurse graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN is preferred but not required.


• Must have current RN License and current CPR or BLS certification.
