Job summary

Empire Care Centers seeks a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing operations at our Riverdale facility. The role oversees LPNs and CNAs, assesses resident needs, administers and evaluates care, and supports the DON in building a high-quality care program.

The RN Supervisor will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, document quality metrics, participate in care planning, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives while maintaining GA licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Georgia.
• 2-3 years of RN experience, supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Nursing Director with staffing, hiring, and orienting professional staff.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing program implementation.
• Lead quality metrics reporting and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning with the DON, CNAs, and other professionals.
• Ensure timely communication and accurate documentation of resident care.

Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)

At Empire Care Centers, we understand the importance of providing exceptional care to our residents. We're seeking an RN Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The RN Supervisor will assess resident needs, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise both LPNs and CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Assists Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing – Recommendations regarding needs of the Nursing department, interviews, hires, and orients professional staff.
• Clinical Leadership – the RN Supervisor Works with the DON and Unit Manager to effectively plan, organize, direct, and implement a comprehensive nursing program
• Provides Nursing Leadership to meet the goals of the organization and the individual center
• Works with the DON to ensure timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNAs, and professional medical staff.
• Initiates and actively participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.
• The RN Supervisor ensures the Interdisciplinary Care Plan addresses all triggered indicators.
• Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of other disciplines
• Prepares accurate reports of the Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS. Performs tracks and trends of this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve the quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.
• Active involvement in Quality Improvement.
• Implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.
