Job summary

Sanatoga Center is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Supervisor to lead nursing operations and ensure high-quality, safe patient care during night hours. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Director of Nursing, staff mentoring, and effective staffing to maintain continuous 24/7 care.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure. BSN is preferred, and you will play a key role in staff recruitment, orientation, and performance decisions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct clinical operations of nursing units on the assigned night shift.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with other departments to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain adequate nursing staffing to ensure 24/7 safe care with minimal overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and recommend promotions/transfers/terminations.

Responsibilities

The RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing

Posted Salary Range
