Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing units and support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care. The role emphasizes safe 24/7 patient care, staff mentoring, and adherence to policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with delivering efficient nursing care and achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction.
• Lead clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shift while ensuring policy and procedure compliance
• Facilitate care delivery model implementation, mentor staff, and coordinate with other departments
• Ensure adequate nursing staff to provide 24/7 safe care with minimal overtime and agency usage
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and advise on promotions and transfers

Responsibilities

• The RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.
• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
