Job summary

Empire Care Centers is seeking an RN Supervisor to join our team in Georgia. The role involves assessing resident needs, administering and evaluating care, and supervising LPNs and CNAs. The position is part-time with every other weekend requirements.

The RN Supervisor will partner with the DON and Unit Manager to plan staffing, lead clinical initiatives, and ensure high-quality resident care. A GA RN license and 2–3 years RN experience are preferred.

• 2-3 years RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists DON and Unit Manager with staffing and interviewing staff.
• Lead nursing program planning and organization with DON.
• Provide nursing leadership to meet goals of the center.
• Ensure compliance between nurses, CNAs, and medical staff.
• Lead Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings and ensure plans address indicators.
• Collaborate with care teams to monitor resident status and progress.
• Communicate effectively with various disciplines and document QM/QI data.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and develop educational plans.

Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)

At Empire Care Centers, we understand the importance of providing exceptional care to our residents. We're seeking an RN Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The RN Supervisor will assess resident needs, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise both LPNs and CNAs. Please note, this position is part time every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing – Recommendations regarding needs of the Nursing department, interviews, hires, and orients professional staff.
• Clinical Leadership – the RN Supervisor Works with the DON and Unit Manager to effectively plan, organize, direct, and implement a comprehensive nursing program
• Provides Nursing Leadership to meet the goals of the organization and the individual center
• Works with the DON to ensure timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNAs, and professional medical staff.
• Initiates and actively participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.
• The RN Supervisor ensures the Interdisciplinary Care Plan addresses all triggered indicators.
• Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of other disciplines
• Prepares accurate reports of the Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS. Performs tracks and trends of this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve the quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.
• Active involvement in Quality Improvement.
• Implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.

Requirements:

• License valid in the GA state
