Job summary

Coastal Health & Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and day-to-day activities on a 3p-11p shift. You will ensure care aligns with standards and regulations under the Director of Nursing.

The role focuses on supervising care plans, resident assessments, rounds, and providing direct care when needed. A BSN is preferred; active RN license in Florida required; CPR/BLS and IV certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong understanding of nursing practices, medical procedures, and regulatory requirements related to nursing care centers.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical care planning and delivery to ensure coordinated, quality resident care, including review and updates of care plans.
• Assess residents upon admission and periodically as their condition changes.
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident status and identify needs.
• Provide or assist with direct resident care when necessary, including activities of daily living, meal support, medication and treatment administration, and participation in leisure activities as appropriate.
