Job summary

Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, DE, is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead resident care, coordinate nursing teams, and ensure compliance with state standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN in Delaware or have a Compact License.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee resident care in accordance with facility and state standards.
• Administer medications and/or treatments to residents.
• Transcribe physician orders and record in the electronic health record.
• Supervise and coordinate CNAs and LPNs in providing direct resident care.
• Educate residents and families about conditions, medications, and self‑care skills.
• Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting actions and continuing needs.

• Full-time: Monday - Friday shifts open: 3 pm -11 pm & 11 pm - 7 am
• Weekend all shifts open - $50/hour for this shift ONLY

As a Registered Nurse (RN), the expectations would be:

• Monitor and provide daily oversight of resident care in accordance with facility and state standards.
• Administers medication and/or treatment to residents
• Communicates resident pertinent data to the appropriate responsible party.
• Supervises and coordinates CNAs and LPNs in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal guidelines.
• Receive telephone orders from physicians, transcribe orders and record in the electronic health record, and prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Educate residents and their loved ones to understand the condition, medications, and self-care skills.
• Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Ensure nursing supply and equipment maintenance needs are met.
• The ability to be a flexible, caring, supportive team member

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Delaware or have a COMPACT LICENSE
• CPR Certification preferred
• Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
• Ability to build rapport with residents
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
