Job summary

Pasadena Post Acute seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise daily nursing activities during tour of duty, ensuring care aligns with federal, state, and local standards. You will collaborate with DON/ADON to maintain high-quality resident care and participate in policy updates and discharge planning.

The role emphasizes directing nursing services, ensuring staff adherence to procedures, and coordinating with other departments to optimize resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have CPR certification and current license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty.
• Assist in directing nursing services to ensure compliance with regulations and quality of care.
• Participate in developing and updating policies and procedures for the nursing department.
• Meet with shift staff to plan services, programs and activities; admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
• Ensure staff compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
